Amazon Rainforest on Fire!

Lindap: Linda Potter Geology 9 MPC Spring 2015 This is the first blog I have had and I think I shall have fun learning something new. This class is about various weather related and other Earth bound events. The students are to choose one country to study these events. The professor takes the U.S.A. so students must work with other countries in our eventful world. With this in mind I have always had an interest in Brazil. In fact, I took Portuguese at CSUS in the early 80’s. Yes, I am old and I love learning so I still take classes at my local Community College known as, MPC. It is located in Monterey, CA and on the beautiful coast of Monterey Bay just south of San Francisco. I will be looking forward to blogging about Brazil and the many natural and possibly unnatural events that have helped to shape this wonderful country.
